Mission
The primary purpose of the job holder will be to plan, organise and implement all the careers development activities of their campus of responsibility according to the standards set by the European Careers Centre and the specificities of the Paris campus, and to ensure the best preparation of our students and their exposure to the labour market.
Activities :
1. Plan, organise and implement activities defined by each Head of Careers Development Programme on the Paris campus
o Define and plan in relation with each Head of Programme Careers Development all the activities to be delivered on campus for each programme.
o Organise and plan the scheduled activities locally in collaboration with the Campus Programme Offices and the local Directors of Studies when applicable.
o Contribute to the European harmonisation of career development practices at a local level.
2. Participate in the European Careers Centre Management team
o Monitor the activities delivered locally by measuring results and performance of services delivered.
o Communicate the performance indicators to the European Campus Careers Lead on a regular basis.
o Collaborate with the European Careers Centre team to improve processes and delivery of activities based on students’ feedback.
o Establish the budget for the planned career development activities.
o Contribute to the European Careers Centre team for transversal projects and new initiatives.
3. Coordinate the work of the Paris campus career advisor team
o Manage a team of internal and external career advisors and a Paris Campus Careers Centre Coordinator.
o For internal career advisors, allocate the different activities (workshops, presentations, individual appointments, etc…) amongst the different members of the team and check the right balance of workload for each team member.
o Animate the pool of externals career advisors throughout the academic year and provide the support they need to deliver the same level of service as the internal consultants.
o Become involved in careers advisory activities and deliver workshops and 1-2-1 students’ appointments.
4. Contribute to the right communication to the students and the community of the action planned and achieved
o Under the coordination of the Federal Head of Communications for the European Careers Centre, disseminate the right information regarding activities and services provided on the campus to students.
o Relay the relevant information on careers activities delivered on the campus to the Federal Head of Communications.
5. Contribute to the promotion of ESCP Students to alumni, companies and main stake holders
o In collaboration with the Head of Employer Engagement of each Campus and Head of Company Relations, organise events or activities in order to promote our students and our school to companies and institutions.
o Identify key corporate partners and in collaboration with the Head of Employer Engagement of each Campus and Head of Company Relations build and maintain a strong relationship with them or expand the School’s portfolio.
Profil
- Expérience significative de 6 ans minimum en gestion de carrière ou dans un rôle similaire
- Compétences avérées en leadership et management d'équipe
- Excellentes capacités de communication et de négociation
- Connaissance approfondie des outils et techniques de développement de carrière
- Maîtrise des langues française et anglaise, à l'oral comme à l'écrit
- Capacité à travailler dans un environnement dynamique et à forte pression
- Expérience en mise en place de stratégies de développement
- Sens aigu de l'organisation et esprit d'initiative
